Recognised early for her costume-making talent, she shifted her focus backstage, acquiring formal qualifications in Theatrical Costume Design and enhancing her skills through various masterclasses. Her artistic journey is marked by diverse and prestigious collaborations, from crafting costumes at the Royal Opera House and the English National Theatre to working in-house and as a freelancer for various theatrical productions. Her experience spans both ballet and opera, excelling in 18th-century garment construction, and extends to the screen, contributing as a maker and cutter for productions like Kingslayer.

In fashion, she has worked with start-ups and luxury brands, gaining a deep understanding of couture techniques. Collaborations with artists like Goldfrapp and scenic designers like Agnes Lennon for large-scale events further showcase her versatility and inventive artistry. Additionally, she is regularly sought after by photographer Kevin Birch for her expertise in historical garment reproductions, bringing iconic paintings such as the Mona Lisa, The Girl With The Pearl Earring, and multiple Aubrey Beardsley illustrations to life with her meticulous craftsmanship. Now, with her own studio, Amédine can fully realise her ambition to do what she loves most – creating exquisite garments and sharing her extensive knowledge of the art of making with those eager to learn.

“Will never forget working with Amédine on my dream role, Crown Prince Rudolf in ‘Mayerling’. One of the most challenging roles of the classical repertoire for a men, with virtuoso almost acrobatic duets, whilst wearing the most decadent period costumes by the iconic Nicholas Georgiadis.. I couldn’t quite believe the magic of Amédine's skilful rework of these costumes for me. Will forever be very thankful."
